A great team narrator and author
After listening to the joy ELLIS series with detective Ballard I now understand the importance of a Good Reader. I had to stop listening to that series because the narrator was not tolerable. I picked up this book instead and was reminded that when listening to audible books you can have a phenomenal story but if the reader is not up to par A book can become intolerable.
I enjoyed this story and wouldn’t mind a sequel!

Enjoyable and Entertaining
I enjoyed this book, I believe Catherine Ryan Howard & Alana Kerr Collins, makes a wonderful team. I have listened to almost all of available audio books from Catherine Ryan Howard and love her writing style and hope there will be more of her books become available. The narration is one of the best I've heard. Thank you for an enjoyable listen!

Good Book
I enjoyed this book as a good story but also as a way to work through feelings and perspectives on the pandemic. It seems many writers have ignored it and the impact it has had in our lives. The narrator is excellent which is so important in an audio book.

great book as always
this is my favorite author on audible and my very favorite narrator. the story is good maybe not her best but I definitely did not see the twist coming!!!

Disjointed
The story started out interesting, even with the word-for-word repetition of segments with added observations from the 2 main characters’ points of view. Adding the journalist, Laura/Lauren?, did not end up augmenting the story. Of the 2 twists at the end, only 1 was supported by what came before. The investigators were interesting but in the end, superfluous.

Great book. A voice change would be nice.
The story was great, however, the audio would benefit from two (or more) narrators ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
